I got a job!
I got a job! I got a job! I got a job hey hey hey hey! I’m overjoyed right now. I have been working nights and weekends part time for over three years. The truth is I hate working nights, I would so much rather get my work done and have my nights free. Not to mention I have learned to live off a very small amount of money, which has been ok, but after three years I just feel neglected. I have no clothes, no makeup, and can’t even remember my last hair cut. So I recently decided it’s time to do something and I applied for a full time day job. I interviewed today at 10:30am and they told me they had 10 or 12 people they were interviewing for this one full time position. They called a few hours later to inform me that I got the job. I am so exited!! First, I feel great because I beat out 12 other people and they said I would be informed by WED, but I got a call only a few hours later which means I must have impressed them and I must say, that feels damn good! Second, the pay is good and its with a new company so its small and the people seem like good decent people. Third, its an active job which is what I wanted..something that kept me moving because honestly a desk job would probably fatten me up something nice and I love being busy with my body, i feel exhausted and gratified at the end of the day. I am now a new team member of Go Green Cleaning, an eco friendly cleaning service! Lily is officially enrolled in daycare which she is so excited about and I can finally start planning to pay some bills off and move forward with life.
In other equally exciting news: I am on day 5 in the green! (and its showing on the scale! but I’ll save that for weight day) I am finding my color coded calender such a great aid and almost even more accountability than my food log. I want to see the weeks streaked across with green and every night when or if I think about jumping off ship I look at it and think….i don’t want a pink block in all my green!! Maybe I’m a dork, but its been great for me and I highly suggest it!
