Yesterday? Only the best day ever!

So I had posted yesterday that I was going to court (not really about me so no I’m not in trouble if anyone was wondering). I used my mother’s GPS that I got her for x-mas and wow I NEED one of those! Anyway, I got there and it was a bust, everyone was rude and no one would answer my questions and I ended up leaving very angry having spent the money to park/drive and leaving never having heard my case. We got back to the car and I decided, no….I’m gonna turn this around!! So I punched in the St Louis Zoo on the GPS cause I figured why not, I’d already drove all that way and I knew it was close. So total impromptu trip to the zoo and we ended up staying the entire day. I’ve been saving money lately and decided ya know…lets just go crazy and have a great mommy daughter day so we ate lunch (since I didn’t even know we were going or I would have brought lunch) and went to build-a-bear (her first time!!) and she got the works and we rode the train and everything. The sky cleared up and it ended up being gorgeous outside. It was such a great day. The only downside was that my eating for the day got completely shot with lunch alone, but it was worth it. Its rainy and gross outside today and all I can think was how meant to be yesterday was. I just had to share!
